Quite simply one of the best combinations – we started our first day in the Loire with a stop at Pierre & Bertrand Couly winery in the heart of Chinon and on the menu – a tasting of Chinon 2 ways – Chinon Rose (where the skins stay in contact for 24 hours to make a gorgeous salmon pink rose.  Then onto the Chinon red – and the four different wines that they make of Chinon.

The sun was shining brightly illuminating the Loire Valley today – we are hoping for the same tomorrow!
